Agripower Diatoms
Quick Company Overview

Agripower has deposits of Diatomaceous Earth (DE) near Townsville in North Queensland, Northern NSW and Western Australia and in total in the order of 2 billion tonnes. The DE is located at or near surface to a depth of around 20 metres and thus extremely easy to mine.

DE is effectively the skeletal remains of phytoplankton that died around 24M years ago and it is their high Silica based frustules that remains today that we mine and process.

Over the past five years Agripower has spent extensive time and money on undertaking research, studies and trials on Silicon and its benefits in Agriculture and in particular looking at DE as a high source of silicon.

Extensive testing and trials have demonstrated that the Agripower DE is extremely high in Plant Available Silicon (PAS).

Agripower’s DE is organic and is registered as an organic fertiliser with the Biological Farmers Association of Australia.

Agripower is about to start constructing brand new processing facilities in Queensland with the view of also establishing export markets for the product. Strong interest has already been received from a number of countries, South Africa, India, China, Middle East, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, etc.
